Republican Rant

Republicans are using scripted attacks to interrupt freshman Democratic congressman and woman while speaking on the floor of the house. More reprehensible actions by the party of cry babies. These are dilatory tactics aimed not at advancing a Republican agenda--they haven't one--or rather they do, it's a negative, know-nothing, we will not cooperate because we want Obama's policies to fail, then we can be kings of the hill again. Well it seems they forget that the recent election, November remember, was a resounding rejection of their governing principles--actually they have no principles.

But sore losers they are--they behave abominably--hence the current bullying of colleagues. This particular leadership, John Boehner (Ohio) he of the perpetual tan, and Eric Cantor (Virginia) of the mean and hungry look--not too smart either--are what you get when you've dumbed down your party. All ambition and no substance.

So here is a limerick I wrote to commemorate the current crew--
TONE DEAF
There was a Republican party
Whose chutzpah exceeded its smarty
Though we're on the brink
They say: "LET 'EM SINK!"
Dumb pricks, you've lost your aurality.
